St. Lucie County’s Oxbow Eco-Center hosting “Pop-Up Nature” programs every Saturday

St. Lucie County’s Oxbow Eco-Center will host “Pop-Up Nature” programs every Saturday from 12:30 to 1 p.m. beginning Sept. 9. These free, interactive programs engage families in nature-themed learning and exploration. Surprise topics vary each week and may include live animals, nature stories, discovery walks, simple crafts or demonstrations.
After Pop-Up Nature, hang around for “Critter Crunch & Munch” from 1:30 to 2 p.m. inside the Oxbow Eco-Center. Join in as staff members feed and provide enrichment for the Oxbow’s live animal ambassadors. Get a behind-the-scenes look at how the Oxbow cares for the critters.
Both the Pop-Up Nature and Critter Crunch & Munch programs are free. No registration is required. Participants can join one program or both. Programs take place on Saturdays at Oxbow Eco-Center unless noted otherwise at www.OxbowEco.com.
