Southern Eagle Donates The American Legacy Eagle Sculpture

Southern Eagle Distributing, Inc. (SED) has donated a bronze eagle to the City of Stuart’s Art in Public Places.  The American Legacy Eagle sculpture is on display at Kiwanis Park and is part of the new ‘Florida Water Birds’ exhibit.

Kiwanis Park is located at the corner of Colorado Avenue and SE 5th Street, in downtown Stuart.  The Water Birds statues represent the City of Stuart’s largest ever public-private art project.  Nationally renowned, local artist Geoffrey Smith, was commissioned to sculpt the Water Bird statutes.

Other sculptures include: Dancing Greater Sandhill Crane, Skimming the Waves Pelican, Wading the Mangroves Roseate Spoonbill and The Osprey Pair.  The sculptures range in size from 18 inches to more than 6 feet tall.
