A Martin County Sheriff’s Office dispatcher continues to recover after she was hit by a drunk driver on her way home from work December 9th.
Rebecca Timmons is in an Intensive Care Unit at a trauma hospital following several surgeries. Co-workers have started a campaign called ‘Rebecca’s Recovery.’ Fellow deputies are holding a digital fundraiser and t-shirt sale to cover her medical costs. Rebecca will be out of work for a minimum of 6 months without pay from the Sheriff’s Office while she faces a long recovery following the accident. A go fund me account has been set up for Rebecca.
