Seized horses from Okeechobee placed in Palm City Equine Rescue
Palm City, Fl-Pumpkin, Spice and Savanah, the three remaining horses that were seized in Okeechobee have been placed at the Equine Rescue and Adoption Foundation (ERAF)in Palm City.
“ERAF is pleased to welcome Pumpkin, Spice and Savanah! These are the three horses seized by the Okeechobee Sheriff’s Department over the weekend. We are VERY happy that they have arrived and that they can begin their rehabilitation. They will be quarantined for the time being. All three loaded easily and are settling in to their new environment. They are SAFE.
We want to thank EVERYONE who was involved in their rescue including Dr. Howard and the AMAZING team from Harbour Ridge Equine, our OUTSTANDING rescue team, the Okeechobee Sheriff’s Department, the local media and every one of YOU who gave these horses a voice.
