“Ruby Gloom” Brightens the Fort Pierce Library Aug. 15

FORT PIERCE –  Watch the adventures a curiously cheerful girl as the Fort Pierce Branch Library presents “Ruby Gloom” (2006) as part of its Movie Matinee on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 2 p.m.

Featuring the voice of Sarah Gadon, this animated TV series follows the adventures of a girl who lives in a gothic mansion with her friends Skull Boy, Iris, Misery, Frank & Len, Poe, Boo Boo and Doom Kitty. Rated G, the movie is best suited for ages 5-10. Moviegoers are encouraged to bring a pillow or blanket and refreshments will be provided.

Parents are also reminded to stop by the Fort Pierce Library every Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 a.m. for storytimes, along with the Puppet Theater on the fourth Saturday of the month at 10:30 a.m.

All programs are free and open to the public – thanks to the generous support of the Friends of the Library.
