Rollover crash at NW Bayshore Blvd/NW Treemont Ave; drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries
Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- This afternoon at 3:15 pm, Police investigated a rollover at NW Bayshore Boulevard/ NW Treemont Avenue. A 2016 blue Dodge Ram and a 1998 white Nissan Frontier were involved. The seventy-six-year-old driver of the Dodge Ram was traveling east on NW Bayshore Boulevard, stopped at the stop sign and upon taking off entered the path of the Nissan Frontier that was traveling north on NW Bayshore Boulevard. The fifty-eight-year-old driver of the Nissan impacted the rear passenger side of the Dodge causing it to rollover.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries, the driver to the Dodge Ram was transported to a nearby hospital, in addition there was a Chihuahua inside of the Nissan who also sustained minor injury.

The Nissan sustained heavy front-end damages. Both vehicles were removed by to rotation services due to heavy damages.
The driver of the Dodge Ram was cited for failure to yield at the intersection.
