Martin County Utilities has released a public notice about their drinking water.
Tests done on December 1st detected e. coli in one of the wells at the water treatment plant in Jensen Beach. However, several follow up tests have been done and have come back clean.
In a press release sent out yesterday Martin County officials say that they are confident that this incident is the result of a sampling error, and that no action is required by consumers.
