MAN’S PLAN TO HIDE ON ROOF IN “WANTED CHEECH & CHONG” SHIRT GOES “UP IN SMOKE!”
Last night at 11:39pm, PSLPD Officers attempted to pull over a vehicle for going 20MPH over the speed limit on Walton Rd, however the driver fled and refused to stop, later crashing into a concrete pole at SE Mariposa Ave and SE Lennard Rd.
The suspect immediately ran from the vehicle wearing a “Wanted Cheech & Chong” shirt, leaving behind his stash of 285 pills containing cocaine/fentanyl, marijuana, plastic baggies and a digital scale.
Officers were alerted by a passerby to the Domino’s Pizza building where they found 23-year-old Kendell Lewis attempting to hide on the roof. After a little assistance from our partners at the St. Lucie County Fire District getting back down, Kendell of Port St. Lucie was arrested and taken to jail for trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, fleeing and eluding, resisting without violence and leaving the scene of a crash.
