Update on Savannas Preserve State Park Homicide – The 911 caller reported an individual shot his friend and then fled the scene in a vehicle. The vehicle of interest is pictured below and is described as a 4 door silver in color, possibly Dodge Charger.

Original Post – At 3:11pm, PSLPD responded to the Savannas Preserve State Park on US1 after a 911 call of a shooting.
Officers arrived on scene and found an adult male in the roadway deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. A thorough search of the area was completed with assistance from the SLCSO Aviation Unit, PSLPD Drone and K-9 Unit.
Investigation is active and ongoing by Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Investigators.
