PSL Police investigating shooting outside Hookah Moon Lounge.
On November 27, 2016 at around 2:00 am, Port St. Lucie Police went to Lakeside Center located in the 300 block of SE Port St. Lucie Boulevard for reports of shots fired. Once on scene a bystander told police that someone in the parking lot was shooting rounds in the air. Police located several shell casings in the roadway, but was unable to locate a victim or suspect at the scene.
While conducting their investigation, police were notified by Tradition Medical Center that a 23 year old male was dropped off at the hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim told police that he was in a physical altercation with a man outside of the Hookah Moon Lounge. The victim said that that the man punched him in the face then fled on foot through the parking lot. A short time later the victim heard people saying “he’s got a gun” then he was shot in the leg.
The suspect is not known to the victim and is described as a white male wearing a black bandanna, black shirt, and dark colored jeans with a short haircut.
