Two people are being treated for non-life threatening injuries at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center after a double shooting early Sunday morning outside a restaurant on 25th Street in Fort Pierce.
A 27-year-old woman was shot in the arm and a 23-year-old man was shot in the back and arm around 2 a.m. Detectives are working to determine the motivation for the shooting and the identity of the shooter or shooters.
Detectives are looking for two men seen in a surveillance video who may be connected to the shooting. Photos of the men are attached. At this point they are considered persons of interest, not suspects.
The restaurant is a Chinese take-out establishment in the 400 block of North 25th Street. Several bullet casings were found at the scene of the shooting.
Anyone with information about the shooting or the two men in the photos is asked to call 9-1-1.
