The Port St. Lucie Ambassadors of Swing present “Holiday on Main Street” as they bring their fabulous sound to the Port St. Lucie Civic Center when Dancing with the Big Band takes place on Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. in the Emerald Ballroom.
Tickets are just $7 in advance and $10 at the door and refreshments will be available, including special drink prices for this event. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
This event will feature a special selection of holiday songs such as “White Christmas,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “Let it Snow,” “Silver Bells,” and a special holiday medley.
The Ambassadors of Swing Band is comprised of the finest jazz musicians the Treasure Coast has to offer. All are dedicated to preserving the melodic sound and passion of what some consider America’s best music.
The event promises to bring that holiday feel and fun both to those who experienced the Big Band era first-hand, and to younger generations who have discovered all of what swing music has to offer. Make it a date night and bring your sweetie.
Tickets for the Ambassadors of Swing dance are now on sale at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center, located at 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place, on the southeast corner of U.S. 1 and Walton Road.
