Situated along the St. Lucie River, Pendarvis Cove Park offers a serene escape from everyday life. The tranquil park setting is considered a hidden gem in the area. Due to the stunning waterfront views watersports are popular, especially kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, and fishing. With both a fishing pier and a boat ramp, it’s an ideal spot for anglers and boating enthusiasts. The boat ramp is small but allows for access to the Indian River Lagoon.
With a few picnic tables and a small restroom, the small park caters to a smaller crowd. The short scenic trails provide for some birdwatching with occasional eagle and osprey sightings and other local wildlife.
Visitors have advised that while the park is patrolled regularly, nightly visits are not recommended. The secluded park is often a spot for homeless boaters to moor for the evening and the grounds are maintained the best.
