Palm Beach County Sheriff
In response to citizen complaints, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division along with deputies assigned to the City of Lake Worth conducted a two month operation in the City of Lake Worth targeting street level drug sellers and prostitutes.
Operation Street Sweep resulted in criminal charges on 33 suspects charged with 52 criminal acts, the breakdown is as follows:
- 24 counts Sale of Cocaine
- 13 counts Sale of Heroin
- 1 count Sale of Marijuana
- 12 counts of Offer to Commit Prostitution
- 2 counts of theft
