ABOUT THE EVENT: Sunday, February 18th from 3:00pm – 5:30pm at Gazebo Park in Stuart.
This family friendly event by One Billion Rising for Justice in Martin County is a call to action for survivors to end their silence. Because without brave survivors stepping forward, rape culture continue to win out.
Therefore survivors are now being encouraged to BREAK THE CHAIN!
Most importantly to share their stories – through art, dance, songs, spoken word, testimonials, and whatever way feels right.
ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
ONE BILLION RISING FOR JUSTICE, MARTIN COUNTY
A group of 4 high school seniors, 3 from South Fork High School and 1 from Martin County High School, who are working to celebrate survivors of domestic abuse and violence against women.
Finally, One Billion Rising For Justice wants to spread the word that the violence needs to end, that survivors can speak out, share their stories, and know that there are people to support them and resources available to help them.
