New details have emerged as the investigation continues in the shooting death of church musician Corey Jones.
On Monday night, CBS12 obtained Jones’ cell phone records. The cell phone log indicates that at 3:10 a.m., Jones called AT&T roadside assistance; then Palm Beach Gardens Officer Nouman Raja encountered Jones at 3:15 a.m., where police say he fatally shot and killed him on the side of I-95; Call ended to AT&T Roadside Assistance at 4:03 am.
That last phone call Jones placed lasted 53 minutes, according to the phone records. That would mean the fatal shooting occurred during the 53 minute long phone call to roadside assistance, possibly being recorded by an operator.
