The mother of a four year old is facing charges after locking her child in a running vehicle.

On October 11, Port St. Lucie police officers responded to the Wal-Mart parking lot and discovered the 4-year-old in a locked running vehicle, according to a criminal complaint by Port St. Lucie Police.

After watching security footage, officers determined that the child was left in the car for over 15 minutes.

The mother, 33-year-old Jessica Taylor was arrested and charged with child neglect.
