MCTV Airs Coastal Lecture Series Presentation on Lionfish

Martin County Television (MCTV) is proud to present “Living with lionfish: What we’ve learned about the unprecedented marine fish invasion affecting Florida’s reefs and estuaries,” an installment of the Coastal Lecture Series recently held at the Blake Library. Dr. Zachary Jud, Director of Education and Exhibits with the Florida Oceanographic Society, discusses cutting-edge research, myths and misconceptions, and the impacts of this invasive, exotic species on our delicate ecosystem.

The Coastal Lecture Series airs on Saturdays at 9:00 pm as well as other times throughout the MCTV schedule. Lectures can also be viewed through Video on Demand on the County’s website at www.martin.fl.us.

MCTV is available to Comcast Cable System (Channel 20) and U-verse (Channel 99) subscribers and through live streaming online at www.martin.fl.us. Check out all the MCTV listings on the Martin County website at www.martin.fl.us. Just click on the MCTV icon on the bottom right corner of the page to see the show schedule.
