Martin County Sheriff:Suspect responsible for fatal shooting in Indiantown now in custody

Martin County, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- The Martin County Sheriff have reported the suspect responsible for fatal shooting in Indiantown is now in custody.

This is what they said:

Late this afternoon, 35-year old Robert Norwood Jr. surrendered to MCSO Deputies and Detectives in Indiantown.
Norwood was wanted in connection to a shooting that occurred on Tuesday, March 15th , near Jake’s Store on Martin Luther King Boulevard in Indiantown.
Witnesses say Norwood and the victim were seen arguing in front of the store shortly before Norwood pulled a gun and fired a number of shots hitting the victim. The victim died on the scene. Norwood, who resides in Indiantown, fled the scene on foot.
