MCSO Marine Units were called to assist firefighters at an overnight blaze on the waterway.
It happened around 3:30am on a dock along Ocean Boulevard. When deputies arrived, a houseboat on a lift was fully engulfed in flames. A catamaran on the dock was also on fire.

The Marine Units acting Sergeant Michael Joseph, Deputy Pete Peterson and COP Deputy Justin Lundstedt worked to put the blaze out using specialized firefighting apparatus on our marine vessel.
No one was injured, but the vessels were completely destroyed. The State Fire Marshall will investigate to determine the cause.
