Martin County businesses affected by Lake O discharges encouraged to complete survey for potential disaster relief

Martin County encourages local businesses which are being impacted by the damaging Lake Okeechobee discharges that have been released into our waterways since January complete a Business Damage Assessment Survey that can be obtained at: https://flvbeoc.org/index.php?action=bda (select the “Lake Okeechobee Discharge” event). The survey results will be shared with various state and local agencies to expedite implementation of appropriate disaster relief programs for affected businesses. The Florida Virtual Business Emergency Operations Center is activated and will assess the impact that the discharges have had on local businesses.
