Lucky’s Market will be coming to Port St Lucie later this year.
Lucky Market is a natural and organic grocery store, and is known for allowing customers to drink beer and wine while they shop.
Pints are typically just $2 and glasses of wine are $3.
The company did not announce a specific location for the new store.
(note from the editor: I am a big fan of Lucky’s Market! We could totally have one in Martin County. I have spent years shopping at the one in North Boulder near my sister’s house. A great market! )
On their website
“We believe good food shouldn’t be a luxury, it should be a right. If you don’t want to eat things like pesticides, antibiotics and growth hormones, you shouldn’t have to. Natural and organic food shouldn’t be priced out of your reach. We also have the crazy notion that we shouldn’t adopt a holier-than-thou attitude if your grandma’s recipe calls for something that doesn’t fit some people’s idea of what’s good for you.”
and
“Local vendors are our neighbors. They’re the folks who jump in to bring the party. Who have a cool recipe, loaf of bread or a story to share—usually all of the above.
Like our vendors, we come from a long line of community minded pioneers who love food. We’re passionate about bringing the best quality products we can find to our local communities. Think of us as the country roadside stand of fresh tomatoes or the chef’s table in a kitchen dishing up delicious fare. Our doors are wide open to welcome everyone who’s interested in being a part of the big picture.”
Ten percent of the profits from select items under Lucky’s brand are reinvested into local communities.
Just plain great people and we are looking forward to you coming here! Maybe if it goes well you can open up one in Martin County!
