Ausby was involved in a traffic stop and during the stop he was found to be in possession of 30 grams of cocaine and other narcotics.

Ausby is no stranger to the criminal justice system and boasts a very lengthy criminal history.
Ausby has been booked at the Indian River County Jail over 27 times dating back to 1990. That’s quite a few pictures.
As a result of several of these 27 bookings Ausby has served prison time for robbery, drug trafficking, sale of narcotics, burglary, battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence, and felony flee and eluding.
Ausby’s most recent arrest that landed him in prison was in 2014 when he was convicted of drug trafficking, three counts of sale of narcotics, two counts of possession of narcotics, and felony flee and elude. Ausby was sentenced to five years and was released in May of 2019.
Ausby was booked at the Indian River County Jail on February 25th, 2023, and has already posted a $55,000 bond. Apparently business is good and Ausby is saving his hard earned money.
The men and women of Indian River County Sheriff’s Office will continue to arrest dangerous criminals and keep their commitment to the community to provide a safe place to live.
