Breaking News – Inmate Escapes in Palm Beach County

An inmate serving time for theft has walked away from a work site in Loxahatchee, according to the Florida Department of Corrections.

Palm  Beach County Sheriff’s Office and the K-9 team from Martin Correctional Institution are assisting in the search. There is also a helicopter in the air searching.

The inmate was working near Okeechobee Road and E Street when he disappeared.

Phillip Peletz has brown hair and green eyes. He is 6′ 1″ and 161 pounds. He has numerous tattoos which include a rose on his left arm, wolf on the left leg, flag on back, a skeleton and the name Peggy on his right arm. Peletz turns 54 on Thursday.
