Summertime is usually when The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast’s shelter experiences overcrowding but it’s currently bursting at the seams with more than 160 animals that need to be adopted and the intake of animals continues to climb.
To encourage more adoptions and ease the overcrowding as soon as possible, the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast is offering discounts to help animals find forever homes now through the end of December.
Cat and kitten adoptions are now $5 (normally $40); dog adoptions are reduced to $25 (normally $125); rabbit adoptions are $10; and guinea pigs adoptions are just $5.
