In home dog attack leaves two injured in PSL.

PSLPD and PSL Animal Control went to the 100 block of NW Byron St. for reports of a dog attack on February 5, 2017 at around 1:10 pm.

Police learned that a pit-bull mix had pinned down a 9 year old boy and bit him several times in the face.

The mother of the boy heard the commotion and tried to get the dog off of the boy. The dog then turned on the mother and bit a portion of her ear off.
The owner of the dog ,whose name is Tigger, turned him over to PSL A/C.

In researching Tiggers history PSL A/C discovered that Tigger had bitten a 8 month old child in February of 2016.

Tigger will be turned over to St. Lucie County Humane Society.
