Golf Tournament to Benefit Hibiscus Children’s Center

Vero Beach – Smoke Inn Cigars / E.P. Carrillo are hosting the 1st Annual Charity Golf Tournament to benefit Hibiscus Children’s Center. Grab your golf clubs and join us on Friday, July 31st at Vero Beach Country Club for an afternoon of cigars, golf and friendly competition. Registration begins at 12:00pm, followed by a 1:00pm shotgun start. The entry fee is $100.00 per player or $360.00 per foursome. The tournament is a four-man gross-score scramble format and players will have the chance to win the longest drive contest and the closest to the pin contest.

Proceeds from the tournament directly support the mission of Hibiscus Children’s Center and its efforts to improve the lives of abused, abandoned and neglected youth. The Hibiscus Children’s Village, located in Vero Beach, provides a long-term home environment for teens, ages 13 to 17 years, where they receive nurturing, love and encouragement in a family-like atmosphere. In addition, teens participate in The Career Pathways to Independence Program which directly confronts the educational challenges of foster youth. This program provides the teens with the support, structure, and guidance they need to receive a high school diploma or GED. Additionally, youth ages 15 – 17 are involved in career mentoring, training and preparation. The program is structured to engage youth in expanding their education and learning experiences, think critically about the future, and build skills for adulthood.

Be sure to register today for this exciting tournament and help protect our youth. Hole Sponsorships are still available.
