Fort Pierce Utilities Authority says customers are enjoying their second decrease in power costs in less than a four month period. The decreases are due to lower fuel expenses for power generation.
In July, FPUA’s cost for 1,000 KWH decreased $3.00 and now FPUA is lowering electric costs again by an additional $1.00.
As a result of the reduction the average residential customer’s bill, based on 1,000 kWh, will decrease from $113.84 to $112.84 per month.
