In the early morning hours of Sept 21, 2016, PSLPD went to the 1700 block of SW Bayshore Blvd to investigate someone throwing a homemade incendiary device at the business.
Firebombing incident leads to arrest of a 41 year old man.
Detectives obtained information on a suspect and went to his house to talk to him about the case. During this interaction the man ended up fighting with detectives. He was ultimately arrested and taken to the SLC Jail for arson, possess or manufacturing incendiary device, battery on Law Enforcement Officer and resisting arrest with violence.
He was upset that his girlfriends car was towed.
