A fire at La Mesa RV overnight destroyed at least 5 or 6 recreational vehicles.
La Mesa RV is located near I-95 and Midway Road in Port St. Lucie.
Crews were called to the dealership and it took over an hour and a half to get the fire put out. Crews had to be very careful as the RV’s contain propane tanks.
There were multiple other RV’s damaged by the extreme heat with paint damage, headlights melted, etc.
Fire investigators are l0oking into the cause. There are no road closures or detours at this time.
