Ethics Commission Throws Out Second Complaint by Rejected Tent Site Developer
A second ethics allegation made by a developer whose Tent Site project was rejected by the City Commission has been thrown out.
The rejection follows a first complaint that was also tossed for being without merit.
When developer Michael McCloskey’s plans for the Tent Site were rejected by a newly-elected City Commission earlier this year, he filed two ethics complaints against city officials.
The first, which had already been tossed out by the PBC Ethics Commission was against City Commissioner Keith James.
This week, the Commission threw out the second remaining complaint which was filed against Mayor Jeri Muoio.
Not much reaction from City Hall, except that no one thought the complaint had much merit in the first place.
