It was chaos in Vero Beach where an alleged drunk driver slammed through a business at more than 100 miles per hour.
Officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle driving recklessly near US 1 and 17th Street around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. Moments later, police received another call that a vehicle had crashed through a business at 21st street and a report of someone running from the scene.
Investigators say they found a white SUV which had crashed through the front of the On Site Window Tinting.
The vehicle belongs to Chandler Foster, and police say they found her around 20th Place and US 1 where she admitted to the accident. Inside Foster’s SUV, police say they found an open alcohol container, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
She was taken to jail where investigators say her blood alcohol content was determined to be more than twice the legal limit.
Foster was charged with DUI with Property Damage, leaving the Scene of an Accident with Property Damage, and Reckless Driving.
