Drug Bust at Motel Six in Fort Pierce

St. Lucie County, Fla- A tip led to the arrests of three people on drug charges at a motel in Fort Pierce. The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office used a search warrant at the Motel 6 on Peters Road on Thursday, January 5th. This was after a tipster said drugs were being sold out of one of the rooms. Investigators found marijuana, Xanax, molly and heroin/fentanyl in the hotel room, along with powder cocaine, crystal meth and suboxone patches. Deputies arrested 25-year-old Ryan Zempel, 30-year old Likenson Daceaus, and 29-year old Torre Wisher… all on multiple drug charges.
This happened on January 5th, 2018.
“The tip stated that various types of narcotics were being sold out of one of the hotel rooms,” said Sheriff Ken J. Mascara. “Our agency receives multiple tips each week regarding drug use and sales and our detectives investigate each and every one of them.”
According to the Sheriff, detectives located five grams of heroin/fentanyl, 2 grams of Molly (MDMA), 49 Xanax pills, crystal meth, powder cocaine, suboxone patches and 139 grams (1/3 of a pound) of marijuana inside the hotel room. Also in the room were various types of supplies used in the packaging and sale of these drugs.
“We continue to fight the opioid epidemic plaguing our state and nation,” Mascara said. “Our agency is committed and now our community is working hand in hand with us, providing tips and information that is leading to arrests. We encourage those addicted to this terrible poison to seek treatment and to the dealers who are selling this poison in our community, we have you in our sights and will not tolerate your activity in St. Lucie County.”
According to the Sheriff, Ryan Zempel, 25, was charged with trafficking in heroin, possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, three counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail on a $136,500 bond. Likenson Daceus, 30, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell. He was also charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. He was booked in to the St. Lucie County Jail on a $45,000 bond. Torre Wisher, 29, was charged with possession of cocaine, two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail on a $45,750 bond.
