Port Saint Lucie Police
Port St. Lucie Police say a domestic related incident Monday morning resulted in a multiple shooting.
Police learned that the shooter, 32 year old Aundra Allen from Miami, came to Port St. Lucie where his wife, Anika Allen, who is 27, along with their 4 day old son, 2 year old daughter, and Anika’s 7 year old daughter is staying with Anika’s mother, Sheron Thomas.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Allen came to the house where he confronted Thomas in the front yard and shot her several times. She managed to go to a neighbor’s house for help.
Allen then broke into the house where he shot Anika.
Allen was laying in the grass on the side of the house with an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound to his head.
Anika, Thomas, and Allen were all transported to area hospitals.
Both women are expected to recover.
Aundra Allen was last reported to be on life support.
