What the Restaurant Will Offer

The company says the roughly 4,500-square-foot space seats about 150 guests and centers on a covered outdoor bar with seating on all four sides and televisions for watching games.

The interior includes an open expo kitchen and original murals painted by Craig McInnis Studios inside and outside the building. A separate taco pickup window is planned for to-go orders, with online ordering through the company’s website.

Executive Chef Tim Nickey built a menu the company describes as drawing on Southern California taco culture. Listed items include a birria taco with Chihuahua cheese and broth, a Baja fish taco with grilled mahi on a blue corn tortilla, and a gator taco with tamarind glaze. Brisket nachos, Mexican street corn, and guacamole are also on the menu.

The bar lineup centers on margaritas and tequila, including the house Papi Rita and a mezcal mai tai. Horchata and agua frescas are listed as nonalcoholic options.

Weekly Specials

The restaurant has announced several recurring promotions:

  • Papi Hour: Daily, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with discounted cocktails, beer, wine, and food
  • Margarita Monday: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., discounted margaritas
  • Taco Tuesday: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., with drink and food specials
  • Kids Eat Free Wednesday: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., free items from the kids’ menu

Why It Matters

The opening adds a sit-down restaurant with a full bar to Treasure Isles Plaza, a shopping center on one of Palm City’s main commercial corridors. For residents, it means a new dining option without driving into Stuart or south into Palm Beach County.

It also marks an expansion northward for a Palm Beach County restaurant group, continuing a pattern of South Florida brands moving into Martin County as the area grows.

Partner Cleve Mash said the group chose Palm City because it saw an opportunity for a casual, energetic restaurant in the area, and that the goal is for the location to function as a neighborhood gathering spot rather than only a place to eat.

The company says the brand has been voted Best Tacos by Jupiter Magazine and the Palm Beach County Choice Awards.
