Disney’s “Descendants” Descend on the Fort Pierce Library Sept. 19

FORT PIERCE – Find out what happens when some of Disney’s most famous villains have teenagers as the Fort Pierce Branch Library presents Disney’s “Descendants” (2015) as part of its Movie Matinee on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 2 p.m.

Featuring Dove Cameron, Booboo Stewart and Cameron Boyce, the movie follows a group of trouble-making teens, who are descendants of famous fairy-tale villains, as they are granted attendance at a prep school in the kingdom with the heroes’ children. Rated G, “Descendants” has a running time of 112 minutes. Best suited for ages 5-10, moviegoers are encouraged to bring a pillow or blanket and refreshments will be provided.

Parents are also reminded to stop by the Fort Pierce Library every Wednesday (Pre-K Jamboree) and Friday (Toddler Time) at 10:30 a.m. for storytimes, along with Family Storytime on the first Saturday of the month at 10:30 a.m. and Puppet Theater on the fourth Saturday of the month at 10:30 a.m.

All programs are free and open to the public – thanks to the generous support of the Friends of the Library.

The Fort Pierce Branch of the St. Lucie County Library System is located at 101 Melody Lane. For more information about children’s programs call Gicele Perna (Ms. Sally) at 772-462-2812, email pernag@stlucieco.org or visit: https://library.stlucieco.gov.
