Coast Guard investigators at the Port of Palm Beach are trying to figure out how a barge carrying containers lost part of its load off our coast.
One by one, containers were removed from the 340 foot barge Columbia Elizabeth revealing a mangled mess.
The barge is now docked at the port.
Up to 25 containers may have fallen into the waters off our coast.
The company chartering the barge, Tote Maritime, also owned the now sunken cargo ship El Faro that ran into the middle of a storm earlier this year killing everyone on board.
