TreasureCoast, Fl- An area of low pressure is moving from the Bahamas towards Florida, and it could bring heavy rains to the state throughout the weekend.
The storm could move over Florida as early as today, which will limit its chance of developing.

The storm is then expected to move back into the warm Atlantic waters. That could allow it to develop into a tropical depression over the weekend or early next week.
The National Hurricane Center gives the storm a 60% chance of developing over the next five days. Locally we have about a 50% chance of rain throughout the weekend.
