Bring your tots to “Water Play Wednesday” this summer at Whispering Pines Park
Beginning Wednesday, June 17, children ages 5 and under will delight in “Water Play Wednesday” to be held every Wednesday during the summer through Aug. 12 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Whispering Pines Park.
The cost for a fun-filled, splish-splashing with friends in only $3 per child.
Water play is beneficial for a child’s physical, mental (cognitive) and social-emotional growth. We will provide toys, beach balls, slip n’ slide and a small pool.
Parents should make sure that their child has sunscreen applied and should provide their child with a towel, snacks and drinks.
Parents are welcome to bring folding chairs and umbrellas for their comfort.
Whispering Pines Park is located at 800 S.W. Darwin Blvd.
