The Boys & Girls Clubs relies on individuals and businesses to assist in its mission of ensuring that kids reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The Club received a $1,200 contribution from the St. Lucie Mets after the widespread vandalism to the Garden Terrace Unit and administrative office in the Williams Center in Fort Pierce.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County thanks the St. Lucie Mets for their generous support and their donation towards reopening our Garden Terrace Unit. St. Lucie Mets held a fundraiser from July 26th through August 2nd and $1.00 from every ticket that was sold at the box office benefited the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County.
“We are always glad to step in and help out the Boys and Girls Club. Their programs are very important to the future development of our community,” said Paul Taglieri, St. Lucie Mets Director of Florida Operations.
