Body found in Lakewood Park Identified as Jessica King.
On July 13 a badly decomposed body found in Lakewood Park has been identified as missing woman Jessica King. An autopsy was conducted over the weekend. Based on a tattoo and necklace an identifications was made. There was no sign of trauma of the body.
The 26-year-old woman was last seen leaving her home on July 1st.
The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office said King got into a truck with a friend. The friend told investigators King got out of the vehicle and that was the last he saw of her. Investigators found no signs of trauma. Her body was found about a block from where she got out of the car.
Deputies say she was reportedly under the influence of a synthetic drug known as Molly. The toxicology report will take 8-10 weeks.
