The Barn Theatre Presents a Comedy, “The Bare Truth,” March 10th thru March 27th
STUART, FL. By popular demand, The Barn Theatre will be presenting the hilarious comedy, “The Bare Truth,” written and directed by local playwright H.G. Brown. The gist of the play is very humorous. A retired couple recently settled in South Florida, is tired of their daughter and married son constantly intruding in their life.
The kids think they have to constantly check up on the “old folks.” So with the help of a friendly retired neighbor couple, the “old folks” decide to get some needed time alone. So, what do they do? They tell the kids they’ve become nudies. Their ploy works but, adding a little twist to the plot, not the way they expected.
Cast members include Ellen Gillette (Betty Baxter), Steve Dionne (Jack Baxter), Meredith Osborn (Eve Martin), Joe Moore (Lloyd Martin), Elizabeth Lappert (Judith Baxter), Austin Parriott (J D Baxter), Brigida Mumford (Terri Baxter) & H.G. Brown (Nick Renaldo). The Production Team consists of H.G. Brown (Author & Director), Jeanette Mazzella (Producer), Pat Tobin (Stage Manager) Marcia Molinari (Costumer), Bryan Childe, Technical Director, & Gus McCall (Master Carpenter).
