Authorities continued their concentrated enforcement in northern Fort Pierce, and took another gun off the streets in the process.

Deputies stopped 26-year old James Evans of Fort Pierce Monday night, who was riding a bicycle without proper lights on Avenue E.

When the deputies searched him they found a Walther P88 semi-automatic pistol and five cocaine rocks.

He was jailed on charges of carrying a concealed firearm by a convicted felon, carrying a concealed firearm and possession of cocaine.
