Adopt Vlad! Pet of the Week!
Vlad came to HSTC as a stray way back at the beginning of May – he has now been in our care for over 8 months! We think he may be being overlooked because he is FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) positive. This sounds scary, but he can live a long, happy life just like any other cat. When you come to meet Vlad, be sure to ask a staff member for more information on what it means for a cat to be FIV+. At a little over 5 years old, Vlad is ready to live out his remaining years in a home. While he has been at the shelter he has been a bit peculiar about humans touching “his stuff”, but is a sweet, active kitty otherwise.
