66 year old PSL man arrested for hit and run
Port St Lucie, Fla- A 66 year old PSL man was arrested for hit and run motorcycle vs. pedestrian with serious bodily injuries.
On 3/13/18 at 7:35 pm, PSLPD went to the 1800 block of SE Crowberry for a man laying in the swale on the side of the road.
Investigation revealed that a motorcycle driven by the 66 year old man struck a 40 year old man. The man was walking on the side of the road. The motorcyclist stopped at the scene then called police.
After a bystander arrived on scene, the motorcyclist got on his motorcycle then left the scene prior to police or rescues arrival. Police were able to track down the motorcyclist. They arrested him for leaving the scene of an accident with serious bodily injuries.
The pedestrian sustained a broken leg and head injury both are non-life threatening.
