PSL brush fire scorches 120 acres
Port St Lucie, Fla- A brush fired scorched 120 acres in Port St Lucie yesterday. Crews arrived on scene near the McCarty Ranch Preserve off of Range Line Road around 5:30 last night. A controlled burn had been held nearby a day earlier, but the official cause to the start of the wildfire is unknown. Crews in Indian River County also battled a 99-acre wildfire yesterday in Fellsmere, just east of I-95. The Florida Forest Service says St. Lucie County is currently a high threat for wildfires. Martin and Indian River counties are under an extreme threat.

#StLucieCounty Ranch Wildfire Update (off Range line Road). Fire was 100% contained at approximately 120- acres at 3/14/18: 2259. 10pm last night a single cabbage tree ignited under a power line and @insideFPL was notified. Fire is holding.
