PSL man arrested for stalking.
Port St Lucie, Fla- The PSLPD arrested a man for stalking after he followed a woman home from the Dollar Store and stalked her for over a week.
According to the Port St. Lucie Police Department, Julio Cepero saw a woman at the store. He thought she was pretty and followed her back to her house. He walked around her home, and continued to come back for nine days.
Officers were first made aware of the stalking after the victim’s neighbor told her she saw Cepero near her home on November 17th. The victim then looked at her surveillance video, saw Cepero on her property, and contacted police.
According to the police, the victim and her boyfriend saw Cepero in a wooded lot next to the house on Friday. Cepero fled when the victim’s boyfriend attempted to take a picture of him.
Officers located and arrested Cepero on Friday. He is charged with prowling, stalking, and trespassing.
