Members of the Martin County Sheriff’s Office have been making some joy filled rounds over the past few days.

Community Policing Deputy Buddy Sprott couldn’t let the holidays pass without identifying two deserving families in need of Christmas trees. While picking up the trees, Deputy Sprott also filled his green and white sleigh with a few presents for the family.

Meanwhile just a few blocks away, Community Operations Deputy William Weiss, and Explorer Marvin McClain, delivered five Christmas trees to local families in need. Each tree came with a bag of ornaments, lights, and a tree topper so the families could spend some quality time adding the finishing touches together. All of the decorations, and gifts were donated by employees at the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.

In Jensen Beach, Community Policing Deputy Joe Angelico, and Deputy Justin Lundstedt surprised a local man with a much needed new bicycle. Josh, is a very active member of the Jensen Beach Community, and usually walks to the many events he volunteers at. When the deputies overheard Josh tell someone how a bike would change his life, they immediately made a phone call to Steve at The Bike Shop. In no time at all, they located the perfect bike, and turned Josh’s wish into a reality.
