Professionals Take Big Strides Against Cancer
The Professionals at the Saint Lucie County Property Appraiser’s Office and PA Charities were thrilled to present a check for $510 to Making Strides in support of their Cancer Walk on October 31st.
The professionals and their families support this annual event. This year they combined efforts to make and sell more than 400 empanadas and 60 bags of homemade spicy pretzels to raise needed funds for this event.
“Each year that we participate in the Making Strides event it is an inspiring opportunity to come together as a community to honor survivors, raise awareness, and raise funds to help the American Cancer Society” remarked Susan Rowe, PA Charities Chair for this event.
