Group-home driver arrested in after van was taken with wheelchair bound man inside
Port St.Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- –A second arrest has been made following the theft and recovery of a group home van and its wheelchair-bound passenger on Monday.
The driver of the van, Ernso Oge, 65, was arrested on Wednesday.
According to police, Oge, a group home employee, entered a liquor store around 1:55 p.m. He left the van running with the victim inside.
Oge was charged with neglect of a disabled adult. He is being held on a bond of $2,500.00.
